The weekend is finally here ....

Jakarta has many exciting recreational places that lie within a weekend trip outside the city for anyone longing to reconnect with nature after a hectic week in the city, and to return reinvigorated to face the new week.

One of these exciting places is Bogor which is a mere one hour drive from the Guesthouse via the Jagorawi toll road, or 30 minutes by train from Tebet Train Station. Bogor is famous for its Botanical Garden which lie in the city center, also the Bogor Presidential Palace which is nestled as a gem amongst the green vegetation with Mount Salak volcano as its background.

The Guesthouse has plenty of green vegetation to combat pollution. Guests can savour our many plant species, from hibiscus ( we have five varieties of hibiscus - white, rose pink, pink, orange, red) to roses ( we have roses that bloom in orange red, dark red, orange sunset, yellow, and pink). But obviously nothing compares to the Bogor Botanical Garden. Visitor can take time to enjoy a leisurely walk across the paths and avenues lined with different species of flower plant, stroll by the manicured lawns and admire the varieties of Orchid found in the Orchid Garden, or simply laze in the shade of large ancient trees.

The Bogor Botanical Garden has over 400 species of palm trees and 5,000 different kind of trees gathered from around the tropical world.

The Bogor Botanical Garden is open to public whilst visitors need special entry pass to visit the Bogor Presidential Palace.
